This Doesn’t Work…
At least that’s my opinion. I did a test I mentioned in this post: How To Boost Your Alexa Ranking In One Easy Step?
My Alexa ranking has increased 20% since I’ve installed the Alexa code at the bottom of the right column. The Alexa rank was something like 250,000 2 weeks ago and is just a tad under 200,000 as I’m writing this post.
But my Alexa rank has been climbing like that ever since I started this blog so I don’t attribute any of the increase in Alexa rank to the code I put on this blog. My Alexa rank was something in the neighborhood of 1.6 million about 60 days ago to give you an idea. I also did this experiment on a few other sites and didn’t notice any changes I could attribute to the Alexa code.
On the other hand, it doesn’t seem to be hurting anything so I suppose I’ll just leave it there for now.
