The Perfect Promotion Tool

If you look around the web, most successful Internet businesses have a blog. Google has a blog. Yahoo has a blog. Amazon has a blog. But blogs aren’t exclusive to multi-billion dollar corporations. There are thousands of smaller companies and individuals making comfortable 6 or even 7 figure incomes with business models that utilize the power of blogs. Blogs are the perfect promotion tool. Do you have a blog?

It’s never been easier to start an Internet business. Look what Jim Sansi posted on his blog yesterday: It Doesn’t Take Money. He’s 100% correct. Camtasia is giving away Camtasia Studio 3 which is a great tool for recording an information product. You can get Camtasia Studio 3 for free here. From there it’s simple to create an online course, a CD-ROM, or a DVD. You can even upload the CD or DVD to Kunaki for free and they’ll handle all the shipping for you. It couldn’t get much easier. You can literally create an information product on CD or DVD without spending a penny. It’s incredible.

But don’t stop there. You’re not going to make much money if you don’t promote your product. And that’s where the blog comes in. There are dozens of sites that will allow you to create a free blog. So now you’ve got a physical information product and a blog to promote it and you still haven’t spent a dime. There literally are no financial barriers to entry to starting an Internet business.  Well OK, you’ll need a computer but it’s a rare person these days who doesn’t own or have access to a computer.  You can use them for free at the library and many other places.

So why don’t more people do it? I don’t know. It does take some effort to learn how to use Camtasia but not much. Maybe some people think they’ll run out of things to say on their blog. I actually thought that might be the case when I started this blog but it turns out the opposite is true. There are several things to write about every day. All I have to do is pick one. If you know enough about a subject to create an information product, you should have no problem writing 3 to 6 posts per week. If that subject is your business or hobby and you spend several hours per week on that topic, how could you possibly not have something to write about? It’s nearly impossible.

As long as you make regular posts, the search engines will love your blog because you’re constantly adding fresh new articles. Throw in some article marketing to build links and you’ll really be rolling. It’s just not that difficult. Your blog will attract visitors interested in the topic and some of them will buy your information product. It’s as simple as that.

There’s nothing wrong with the free blog services but you’re subject to their rules and regulations and some of them routinely delete blogs for no apparent reason. I prefer to have more control over my blog and that’s why I host my own blog instead of using the free services. I think it looks more professional to have your own blog on your own domain.

It’s not any more difficult and doesn’t cost much more…just a few dollars for a domain and a few dollars a month for hosting. The blog software is free. Customizing the blog can be a little tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing so I created an information product that shows you exactly how to do it. It’s called the WordPress Blog Online Home Study Course. Jim Sansi actually used it to start his blog not long ago and now look at all the products he’s created. They’re listed on the sidebar. There’s no reason you can’t do the same.

If you’re reading make money online blogs and haven’t started your own Internet business yet. What’s stopping you? The only barrier to entry is you making excuses not to get started. Every day you wait you’re falling further behind the people who start now and it’s less likely you’ll ever do anything.

[I don't hate James and never said I did. I wish him continued success & happiness.]

why did you just steal this information from his private story?

[I linked to Jim Sansi's post from yesterday. I have not read James private story. I haven't frankly wanted to visited his blog lately. Perhaps I'll read it later.]

You are a real loser. [Golly that's upsetting coming from someone whose first two statements are incorrect and won't even leave a real name.]

Maybe you should write an ebook called “How to get an original fu*king idea?” Or do you need to wait for James to write it so you can steal it from him. [I edited your swearing...hope you feel better.]
