The New 5 Minute Marketing Test?
James Brausch is taking open questions and I have one.
I always liked the 5 minute marketing test but one of the tools is no longer available. The Overture keyword bid tool has been removed (or maybe it was moved and I haven’t found it). I’ve also noticed the Keyword Selector Tool shows old results. The results used to be from the previous month, but now they are from January 2007 so they’re already 7 months old and getting older.
Is there a new 5 minute marketing test?
thanks,
Robert

Good question, Robert. I am looking forward to James’ answer. I came up with a little work-around for users of Google AdWords, but it is not as convenient a method as James demonstrates in his Info Prod Creation Home Study Course. You are right about the data on the Keyword Selector Tool coming from January 2007 and here it is August 2007… that is also a big concern.
Overture still exists for the person who hunts the back streets…

Follow the instructions on the page carefully and it works better than the original, except slow.

They’ve killed that Overture link now.
Another one bites the dust.
Martin,
Bummer. Thanks for the link though. It was a good thought. This 5 minute marketing test will still work. It’s just a matter of finding a new source for the numbers which I haven’t done yet.
There has to another place on the Internet that has similar numbers that can be multiplied together to form a meaningless number to be compared against the number for air guns.
