Recently, I mentioned a new service called BlogRush. The BlogRush widget is at the bottom of my sidebar. It’s only been a few days but I’m already seeing results. Click here to get a Free BlogRush Account and start driving more traffic to your blog.
A few days ago I read this post on Snowboard John’s Blog: Do You Make These BlogRush Mistakes? I’ve been reading Snowboard John’s blog on and off for a few weeks now and I’m adding it to my blogroll so I don’t forget to read it more often.
Before BlogRush came out and before reading Snowboard John’s post, I didn’t think too much about the headlines of my blog posts but he makes a good case for paying more attention to the headlines in order to get the best results from BlogRush.
From now on, I’ll make the extra effort to keep the headlines to 40 characters or less so the headline is not cut off in the BlogRush widget and score the headlines with Glyphius, a statistical copywriting software.
Snowboard John makes several other good points in the post and he’s made several other posts I found interesting like the one he made today about “Cost Hence Commitment.”

I am not joining the BlogRush thing for my own reasons. IMHO blog post titles are more important then the content of the blog itself.

[Michael,
Thanks for your content. You may be right about blog post title. It seems like the title of a book might be more important than what's in it. I suspect many people buy a book based on the title and then never read it.
