Grow a Pair

Are you familiar with the term “grow a pair”? I think it’s American slang. It refers to certain part of the male anatomy that comes in pairs but this is not a medical blog so I won’t get any more specific than that. I trust you can figure it out. “Grow a pair” applies equally to men & women.

In a more general sense, “grow a pair” refers to anyone who lacks courage, spine, backbone, determination, grit, guts, mettle, moxie, tenacity. You get the idea. Basically a wuss. When the going gets tough, the tough get going…and those that need to “grow a pair” run like scared jackrabbits. They disappear…that is if they even bothered to show up in the first place. They won’t take action or they won’t join the discussion and express their opinion. They’re scared. It’s them vs fear and they let fear kick their butt.

They’re experts at rationalizing their inaction but the bottom line is they don’t do anything when they know they probably should stand up and “grow a pair.” Better to let other people struggle, fight, and eventually succeed. It’s easier to sit on the sidelines and watch. If you don’t try, you can’t fail, right? You avoid controversy and the mini-defeats on the road to victory. “To avoid criticism, say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.” (Elbert Hubbard)

Have you been thinking about starting an Internet business but don’t know where to start? Have you been thinking about making a blog but let other things get in the way? Have you considered creating information products but make convenient excuses for not getting started? Have you been holding back your honest opinions to avoid controversy? Are you going to let people walk all over you and take undue credit for your success? Is any of this helping you or anyone else? Why not “grow a pair” and do something about it?

I don’t have all the answers but here are a few. The CyberCa$hology Intern Program doesn’t cost a dime and when you’re done you will have created a video information product and learned how to write sales letters and drive traffic to your sites. Those activities are the foundation of a successful Internet business. If an intern program doesn’t appeal to you and you can make a small investment I can show you how to create a customized WordPress blog and how to create a video information product. If you’ve been sitting and watching on the sidelines as others build successful Internet businesses, isn’t it time to “grow a pair”?
