Getting Traffic to Blogs

If you intend to make money online, you need a blog for a lot of reasons. Building a list, sharing information, and driving traffic to your sales pages are just some of the reasons.

I’ve shared by my best methods for driving traffic to this blog too especially in the last week. You basically find sites that get a lot of traffic and find a way to drive some of it your way.

Another way is to make comments or trackbacks to other blogs. Some people will click on the link you left and visit your blog. In some cases you might even get mentioned in a future blog post. It’s happened to this blog on several occasions and just the other day, Terry Dean linked back to CyberCa$hology on his Integrity Buisiness Blog in his post: Will You Take Action?

All I did was trackback to this post just as he asked. So not only will I get some traffic, I might add to my library of Dan Kennedy tapes.

      Rob,

I definitely commend you on taking action in terms of setting up this blog and posting to it daily with insightful tips and resources. I enjoy reading your blogs and seeing what you’re up to.

May I make just one simple suggestion?

When someone takes the time to comment on your blog, you really should take a moment and respond in kind.

Isn’t this what blogging is all about? I know I have personally left a comment on your blog and not once did you acknowledge my post.

A simple thanks, agreement, disagreement, ok, etc. are all pretty good places to start when responding to your blog comments.

I debated for several days about whether to leave this on your blog as I didn’t want my critique to be in bad taste because I do not mean for it to be.

I just think you have a great blog and put in an obvious amount of hard work and thought you may not be aware of this little drawback.

      All the best,

      Jen

      Hi Jen,

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate any comments and feedback.

I don’t always respond to comments because I don’t always have something to say but as far as I know I respond to most comments.

I responded to your comment here:

and I’m responding to this comment so I think I’m 2 for 3 on responding to your comments. I’m not perfect.

      Thanks Barry,

Glad you like the site. What were you searching for? Do you remember the search term? It’s always good to know these things.
