Here are some things I’ve noticed around the web this week that I found interesting.
Jim Sansi is having a 24 Hour Special on the Costa Rica files. He visited James Brausch in Costa Rica just like I did. He has put his notes into a video presentation called the Costa Rica Files. There is some good information on asset protection and other things important to building a successful Internet business.
I bought this script yesterday. Give it a keyword and it finds related blogs with the “no follow” tag. Then you can make comments on those blogs and get links back to your site. The “installation” if you want to call it that took seconds. All you do is ftp a .php page to your site. It’s $5 until Friday. I’m not sure what happens after that but it’s definitely worth $5. I’ll be using it in my intern program.
You can download the mp3 audio files and .pdf transcript of an interview Joe Polish did with Sir Richard Branson - the multi-billionaire founder of the Virgin empire. This is a very interesting and successful guy. I listened to the interview yesterday on my iPod while I ran. Sir Richard sounds like he may have been influenced by Dale Carnegie and Zig Ziglar. It’s never about him. It’s about what he can do to help other people. And like Zig Ziglar said “You get what you want by helping others get what they want.” Sir Richard has helped enough people get what they want that his companies earn $25 billion annually. This interview is worth listening to. It’s free too…until the webpage is removed.
This website give you an opportunity to send a free printed postcard to U.S. military personnel stationed overseas showing your support and appreciation for their service. The mail doesn’t come every day in the military and I remember how it lifted my spirits whenever I received a card or letter. All the postcards were designed by schoolchildren throughout the U.S. like this one by 11-year old Bobbie from Santa Clarita, CA.
