Well, this piece is one approach, but I don't know if it's the way I'd go. See, I also feel that people should take control of their destiny; buy instead of rent, self-employ instead of work for somebody else. But I don't if I could casually put down people for their life choice because they haven't bought my book or system yet.

It's very easy from the mountain top when you have information. You can look down and see all the mistakes. But if you're down there in the valley you can't always see a way out.

Maybe you would consider putting some of your strategy out there so people can judge the merit of what you know-for instance I came here hoping to learn a little more, but instead I'm hearing how you can't believe people aren't doing the right thing. Ok, what's the right thing?

[Dave,

Thanks for your comment. As far as what's "the right thing", I can't answer that for you. I've addressed that question a few times perhaps most recently in a post titled "One Size Does Not Fit All." What's "right" for you may not be "right" for me. That doesn't mean I'm wrong & you're right, it just means what's "right" for us is different. Most people probably are better off with jobs and there's nothing wrong with that. It's not always easy being an entrepreneur and most people aren't willing to persevere and overcome all the obstacles.

That's an excellent viewpoint. I've included that as a quote on my site! I wonder if my blog is a diversion from making real money.

BTW, drop the stupid question below... one captcha is more than enough!

[Thanks for putting my quote on your site. This might be the first time I've ever been quoted. It's kind of cool.

As for the stupid question, I'll check that out. Since I'm the admin I don't see all those captchas and whatever else I have enabled to combat spam comments but if you mentioned it others probably feel the same way and I might be inadvertently discouraging people from leaving comments which is not what I want to do.]

Speaking of company lay-offs, The Sharper Image and Lillian Vernon both filed for bankruptcy protection this week. Thousands of employees will lose their jobs in the coming weeks.

[Thanks Ryan...I didn't know that but it's not surprising. A week doesn't go by where some company doesn't file for bankruptcy protection, get caught up in a corporate scandal, or merge and eliminate jobs to save money. It's mind-boggling why most people with jobs choose to bury their heads in the sand and think it won't happen to them. Depending on an employer for a paycheck is like playing Russian roulette with your financial future.]
