In his recent post The Master Plubmer Dilemma , Steven Lohrenz mentioned a solution to many of the challenges of make unique article submissions to a large email list. Here’s a list of things you can do with this solution:
1. maintain a list without double opt-in verifications;
2. throttle the send rate of email messages;
3. send messages through your own SMTP server (helps to avoid getting caught in spam filters);
4. send unique articles;
5. set it & forget it (articles are sent even if you’re not running the program and your computer is turned off);
6. automatically stop sending messages to email addresses that bounce;
7. ensure duplicate messages are not sent;
8. format the article exactly the same as the Content Spooling Network & use the preview feature to edit messages before they are sent;
9. upload an Artemis Pro external publisher list simply by adding a single line at the top of the text file.
I tested it myself this weekend and it went quite smoothly. I’ll be using this solution going forward. You can set up 6 articles, tell the program to release one article per week, and forget about article marketing for over a month. It will all be done automatically according the schedule you set. That’s exactly what I did. In about 30 minutes I set up articles to be submitted to my external list for the next 6 weeks.
Steven asked if anyone would be interested in this solution. With all the frustrations I’ve had with other tools, and knowing Steven produces quality software (I use the PayPalKunaki Script), I was quick to say I’d like to try it. It worked as smoothly as promised and I didn’t find it very difficult to install and set up.
Steven is still on the fence as to whether or not he’s going to release this as a product or not. He’s also considering other options like only offering to his coaching students. If you have been frustrated with the various article marketing software tools available, I recommend you visit the post I referenced above and leave a comment. This is easily the best article marketing solution I’ve used.

If I understand this correctly, this tool
will allow for creation and delivery of content
to an email list, albeit a larg eone?
I’m not an Artemis user, so I don’t really see
what is so special here, altohugh I’m sure there’s
great value behind this, but I’m not sure why anyone would risk handling Spam complaints from emails sent from own server, when one could use Aweber, for instance.
Also, why not just submit article to a blog and send email list the link to that post, or submit article to an article directory, and once accepted, send that link to list?
I know I must be missing something here, please expound upon this for the non-Artemis users.
Thanks,
Daniel McGonagle

[Daniel,
I used my own smtp server with artmeis too and got spam complaints from the ISP. As far as I know, aweber requires the list members to opt-in/confirm before messages can be sent so you're going to lose part of your list. Steve's solution doesn't require anyone to opt-in and there's no need for that anyway because all these people have requested articles be sent to them. If they change their mind, the can unsubscribe by clicking on a link. I have never received a spam complaint from a publisher....only ISPs.
If you only send a link to a blog or an article site, you're requiring ezine publishers to make extra effort and I think your results will suffer although I have not tested that. What if the link is broken? What if the site is temporarily down? You'd also be using the same article for every publisher and subjecting yourself to the duplicate content penalty. Steve's solution sends a unique article to every publisher which is very important.
Ultimately it's a personal decision. If one of those other solutions works for you, then great. Use it.

Appreciate your participation.
Sending unique articles for each email will really cost you a lot - way more than the projected income and sales generated from those emails.
[Maria,
Thanks for leaving a comment...although I don't understand it. It is not expensive to send unique articles to each publisher. All you have to do is write 3 unique versions of the article and send it.

I´m interested in knowing more Robert - do post more about this solution.
Articles are my my number one quality traffic source.
[Peter,
Steven is releasing it for free to build a list within the next 2 weeks. Watch his blog... http://www.StevenLohrenz.com
